‘Overbyen’ takesus back to the urban Copenhagen of the 90s – the era when F.C. Copenhagen was founded. You now have the chance to attend the premiere – simply join the competition below.

Recently, F.C. Copenhagen and adidas Originals launched the Copenhagen Originals collection. Teaming up with production company Blonde Inc. and Soundvenue, the duo now follows up with the short film ‘Over byen’, featuring musician Ussel in one of the leading roles – once again highlighting the football club’s strong ties to the city’s cultural life.

With ‘Overbyen’, F.C. Copenhagen and adidas Originals aim to support the city’s cultural output. Inspired by the unpolished aesthetics of the 90s, the film captures the authentic spirit of Copenhagen and connects to a time when the city’s originality left a lasting mark on culture. A time of contrasts, boldstyle statements, and original characters who dared to stand out.

‘Overbyen’ is afictional story about choosing your own path – even when it seems unclear. Astory of choices, legacy and identity; of freedom and loyalty – and a tributeto the city’s honest edge, to friendship, to those we carry with us, and to those we choose to become.

Following the screening, Soundvenue’s film editor Jacob Ludvigsen will host a talk withEmil Mercedes Baadsgaard (aka Ussel) and the team behind the film about this ambitious project. Carlsberg will provide the drinks, while the Copenhagen Originals collection will be available in Park Bio’s beautiful foyer where a DJ will provide the soundtrack.
